more about the job … basically the position involves a bit o everything: working in the front office using mas 90 (accounting software, quite easy to learn even if you haven’t used it) to generate sales orders and helping out with invoicing, answering the phones, sometimes helping out with shipping via fedex, dealing with customers and vendors, tracking down products, usual office paperwork shuffling … thresholds lincoln laser is part of thresholds rehab institute, a non-profit which employs people recovering from mental illness to rebuild and recycle toner cartridges for printers and copiers. these are then sold mostly to gov’t and state agencies. i’m guessing that starting pay is around $14/hr., perhaps a bit higher. you can check out the website at http://thresholdsri.org to kind of see what the place is like.
