Last night I met up with S. at the Duke of Perth and we just hung out and talked for a long time. A lot of heavy stuff going on in his life right now, on the verge of some changes, but I think after he unburdened himself to me he was beginning to see it all as a chance for good stuff in his future. He’s seriously thinking about starting to write, after years of being afraid to. I think if we both started our projects together and kept each other accountable for staying on task, we could turn out something great.

Going on a road trip to Denver in 2 weekends! A friend needs to drive his car out there from Chicago, so I’m tagging along. Should be fun.
