So tomorrow morning at 11, Scott is picking me up & we’re going on a roadtrip to Denver. We’re planning on driving straight through (16 hours). That would make me pretty trigger happy by the time Sunday rolls around. I’m staying with my grandmother Sunday night and I get to see the rest of my family for dinner and lunch (because, in my family, socializing always revolves hinges on eating) before flying back to Chicago Monday afternoon.

I hafta pick out some CDs to bring along. Seems like I have plenty of road mix suitable music to choose from. Faves out there?

Last night Andy & I watched my new Criterion DVD of “3 Women.” GOOD GOD I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I know I’ve blathered on about it on LJ already, but this truly is a gem. I’d almost dare to put it in my Top Ten. Perhaps I shall.

After work today I’m heading to Barbara’s Books at Navy Pier. They want 12 more copies of the book for their ARTchicago expo booth next month! I think my creative muscles are slowly tensing up for my next project. A novel. My working title at the moment is “Tentative Decisions.”

Andy is going through some rough times. Decisions about his future, and present. It’s a challenge for both of us. But I have real optimism.
