F9/11 in 2 days. I believe all Friday screenings at the Century on Clark are now sold out. A packed theatre with a rowdy bunch of lefties sounds like a great Friday night to me.

Okay, so David Byrne did NOT mention my book in his tour journal. Hrmph. The show did have great moments though. He opened by saying, “Thank you. First we’re gonna play some songs and then there’ll be Reagan commentary.” The joke was that he didn’t mention Reagan at all after that. He did however play “Life During Wartime” as one of his encores, a brilliant touch.

I dunno what it is, I’ve been so tired for the past week. I can barely make it till 9.30 before I’m yawning. That’s when Andy rolls his eyes and says, “Good night.” I’m getting 8 hours a night, so what gives? It’s not even HOT yet. When it gets REALLY scorching in the summer is when I start to drag.

Poor Andy is in limbo about so many things right now. It makes me unhappy. I know this will all take some time.
