I’ve almost finished reading “A Drinking Life,” by Pete Hamill. While I’m not an alcoholic I can sure relate to a lot of what’s in there.

I woke up at 4 this morning, wide awake. Eventually I got up, wasted some time online, and headed to the gym. Now I’m at work. Yes, the office is open. I can sense that I’m about to get a little sqirrelly from lack of sleep.
