Friday it did not rain. Today it will not rain. Saturday and Sunday … it rained.

Saturday, as I posted earlier, went pretty well. Considering my booth was only open for about four hours. I sold 11 copies, then it started to pour and I had to pack everything away.

Yesterday my booth had been set up for about half an hour. And then it started to pour. I packed up and went home. It was a complete waste of time.

So, recap: I sold 11 copies, recouping my entrance fee and and paying for my promo material. And that’s it. I broke even.

thejeremyshow and sumsinnow both helped me out and they were great. Most of yesterday was spent seeking consolation with Mary Jane and her cousin Senorita Margarita at Las Mananitas, and then having a long nap while listening to the rain through open windows.

You win some, you lose some. I did okay, really, and I can’t complain too much: this isn’t the Gulf Coast. I’d definitely like to do more craft fairs. But indoor ones.
