Right now I’m reading “Hegemony or Survival” by Noam Chomsky. Man is it heavy. But good. It was published in 2003. So 1/3 of what he wrote is now out of date, 1/3 is actually still going on, and 1/3 is ABOUT to happen. Political prescience is almost never good news. Lamely predictable, regrettable, frightening.
