Others have said it better than I: with Democrats taking control of the House and Senate, Rumsfeld resigning, and a new David Lynch film on the way (finally!) I’ve felt like I’m in some kind of alternate universe. A nice one.

And I just found out that I’ll be taking part in the 2006 Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Sale! That’s December 9 + 10 in Pulaski Park Auditorium (1419 W. Blackhawk) from Noon – 5pm. I’m hoping I can unload another 30 copies of 100SP, thus clearing away more space in the office and making Andy happy.

Last night we watched La Dolce Vita and it was awesome. Neither of us had ever seen it. It’s spooky and depressing how prescient it was concerning the modern cult of celebrity. Beautifully filmed too. The whole thing looked like a very weird, elegant fashion spread. Easy to see why it won the Oscar for costume design.
