Suddenly I’m not as happy. Andrew Hill has died. I’ve only started listening to his work recently, but his last album “Time Lines” is magnificent.  Knotty, moving, incredibly free and in complete control all at the same time.

Oh! My! God! If… is coming out in June, as a double-disc Criterion edition! I think I’m suddenly so happy that I’m going to scream!

Gorgeous day today. I think it would be tough to be in a bad mood. I’m making dinner for Andy tonight. Then a movie maybe. Ikiru? Feel good movie of the year I tell ya.
