1, Laurence Oliver as a lusty French-Canadian trapper! Who knew?
2, Even though I knew the Matisse and Picasso were going to be destroyed, I still winced when it actually happened.
3, David Lean’s editing: so crisp, already noteworthy. Especially during the plane crash, the moments of violence. He probably had very little explicit footage to work with but he still made it powerful.
