The Science of Sleep [2006]

1. It makes me think of a whole other direction Tim Burton could have taken after making Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. But he didn’t. And he’ll probably never ever make a movie this inventive, exhilarating and fresh.
2. Gael is hot, hot, hot.
3. The special effects are works of genius. They’re handmade, beautiful, organic, surprising, delightful. Cocteau would have loved this movie. Ray Harryhausen would probably love this movie. And it was made without Hollywood interference for only $6 million!
