Control [2007]

1. Black & white was totally the right choice, because it means that you pay less attention to the 70’s fashions and decor and more to the characters and settings.
2. Craig Parkinson was a great Tony Wilson, but alas I could not get Steve Coogan’s portrayal in 24 Party People out of my head.
3.  The last half hour is very tough to watch, knowing what’s coming. I’m glad that Corbijn did not actually show the suicide.
