Batman Begins [2005]

1. Best thing: Gary Oldman slyly underplaying his role, cast (gulp!) as a sympathetic character for the first time in about a million years. That moustache was so cool.
2. At the end, just about the most shameless plug for a sequel that I’ve seen since Back to the Future Part II.
3. As in so many action movies, there are two gratuitous fight scenes in the first half hour. No real reason for either except to get the audience artificially pumped up.
