2. Fred drinks two double scotches in a row before his first encounter with the Mystery Man.
3. Arnie’s Garage, where Pete works, is within walking distance of Pink’s hot dog stand, which plays a prominent role in Mulholland Dr. Lends some credence to my theory that both films do occur in the same “place.”
