The Visitor [2007]

1. The surprised look on Walter’s face when Mouna orders a glass of wine. The way he takes a big gulp of his wine after he’s opened up to her.
2. The last image of the film, truly memorable: Walter is seated on a bench in the subway, dressed in his college professor clothes, pounding away at the drum. Just as it would be in real life, some of the other people in the subway notice him while others completely ignore him. The trains roll past and he keeps drumming.
3. Tarek sings and drums; an upright bass and a saxophone round out the band. A basement club in NYC.
