1. During the shoe montage, there is a split-second shot where you can see, in the background, a pair of baby blue Chuck Taylors.
2. When Marie takes a bath she has to wear a sort of long bathing shirt.
3. In this film Danny Huston plays Emperor Joseph, who was played in Amadeus by Jeffrey Jones. Hmm.

What a delightful movie! Any mixed reviews that this film garnered were totally unjustified. S. Coppola is every bit as much in control as she was in her first film. This is a movie that will age very well. In ten years, people will be talking about it differently. The costumes and cinematography were luscious.
