3 things about Akira Kurosawa’s SANJURO

Sanjuro [1962]

1. They all pop up out of the floor, like the nine dwarfs.
2. Sanjuro is tied up. He sits on the ground, bent forward at the waist. Kikui cuts the ropes with his sword. Sanjuro shares a private smile with himself.
3. “If you follow me, I’ll kill you.” Pause. “See ya around.” The End.
