1. To get his attention she shuts the laptop with her foot.
2. “I’m very much in love,” he tells her. She smiles. Touched, flattered. “I’ve met someone,” he continues.
3. She removes the gift from her purse and holds it behind her back. He takes it, puts it under the tree.
