Rosemary’s Baby [1968]

1. She kills some time looking at a department store’s Christmas windows. Satanic music on the soundtrack.
2. Her reflection in the toaster: she’s devouring a raw chicken liver.
3. Rosemary and Hutch are having coffee at the kitchen table. Guy comes in, says, “What a surprise–no, don’t get up, stay right where you are.” He goes in the other room. Rosemary asks if he wants a cup of coffee, he says he’d love some, she gets up. Guy is a habitual passive-aggressive manipulator.
