Celine and Julie Go Boating [1974]

1. Clogs. Lots of clogs.
2. From her mouth she removes two pieces of candy stuck together, each a different color.
3. First red blood, then blue blood.

Everyone raves about this movie, but I confess that it’s just not my thing. Although it’s really interesting to see how David Lynch has taken up these exact themes but used to them to different ends.

It’s one of those movies where everyone onscreen seems to be having a lot of fun.
