1. “Objection sustained. The jury will disregard counsel’s tempting allusion to Christmas shopping. Clearly we’d all rather be Christmas shopping.”
2. She smooths out the flannel nightgown and then leans over the bed. Her eyes glisten.
3. “What would you like in the morning, flannel cakes or fried mush?”
“I think we’d travel better on the mush.”
