3 things about Sidney Lumet’s CHILD’S PLAY

Child’s Play [1972]

1. He stuffs the malicious note into the headmaster’s hand.
2. The casket catches on the edge of the grave.
3. As the boys encircle him, a bar of light on his eyes and mustache.

James Mason is especially good (made me think of Bigger Than Life), but the last half hour has a very high “oh come on!” factor.
