1. She tells the kid to find Coit Tower on the map. Because obviously, it being a tower on a very tall hill, they wouldn’t be able to find it otherwise.
2. Paul Giamatti’s best line: “Sweet, bro, let’s grab your laptop and let’s go.”
3. Obligatory “American flag being unfurled amid the wreckage” ending.

Everything I wanted it to be. When a movie shows you a massive container ship riding the crest of a giant tsunami and then smashing the Golden Gate Bridge to bits, you know it’s really going the extra mile.
