To be honest, I must confess that I haven’t dedicated a large amount of time to listening to podcasts. And yet in the past few weeks I’ve participated in two of them! It must be sort sort of signal …
While in town for the Denver Film Festival I was asked to help tape an episode of These Things Matter, a pop culture podcast. The topic was Animated Films. Fueled by copious bottles of Kronenbourg 1664 liberated from the Filmmakers’ Canteen, a panel of guests including Joseph Kolean (director of the music video “Only Friend”), Don Swaynos (producer of the short film, The Outfit) and Michael Haskins (actor and producer of Decay), blabbed about stuff like Uncle Walt, Heavy Metal, and Yellow Submarine. It was great fun. You can stream it or find it on iTunes.

I’m even more excited about the podcast I recorded just before heading to Denver, the newest episode of the White City Cinema Radio Hour. For this special David Lynch themed episode, host Michael Smith and I chewed the fat about Mulholland Dr, Lost Highway, and the forthcoming season of Twin Peaks. In other words, it was pretty much a dream come true for me. Towards the end he also asks me about Pause of the Clock, a topic I’m always happy to discuss! Check it out here.
