Ed Hamilton has brought the US a number of special rums over the years. This recipe, the final result of much tinkering, is designed to spotlight two of them. Enjoy!
HAMILTON SPECIAL DAIQUIRI
2 oz. Hamilton Guyana Rum
.5 oz. Hamilton Jamaican Pot Still Gold Rum
.75 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
.25 oz. simple syrup
.25 oz. honey syrup
5 drops ‘Elemakule Tiki Bitters
Shake with plenty of ice until very, very, very cold. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
