3 things about David Byrne’s TRUE STORIES

True Stories [1986]

1. Multiple instances of red drapes.
2. A coffee machine in the bedroom of Miss Rollings.
3. “What else is a field good for but building houses?”

It’s hard to overstate how important this film has been to me since I first watched it at the age of 13. How wonderful to finally have it as part of the Criterion Collection. 3 other things.
