The Illinois Arts Council FY05 Artists Fellowship application is now completed, assembled, collated and packaged. Sometime late December, I will receive notification of being awarded $7000, $700, or $0.

Maybe all the angst occurs BEFORE you turn 30, in the lead-up to turning 30, and maybe actually BEING 30 is anti-climactic. Another sign I’m 30: for the first time in my life, I pledged to NPR.
