Unexpectedly disquieting. It’s colorful but so shapeless, and while not exactly racist it’s definitely misogynistic. Weirdest Hawks movie I think I’ve ever seen.
Paterson [2016]

2. A one-on-one conversation at the other end of the room. A woman flipping through the jukebox. Sitting alone, he silently observes everything going on around him in the bar.
3. He turns the blank notebook around in his hands. “Ah ha.” He takes a pen from his pocket and begins to write.
Decaf Don [2019]
1. Background cat.
2. Large orange chicken and crab rangoon.
3. “Which is it, Don? Did you quit … or were you fired?
Sigh. “I was let go.”
