This is my favorite of the “new” tracks. It’s a previously unreleased recording from 1977, but the actual song was a staple of their early live sets. It starts off as a very catchy, almost embarassingly-earnest pop song but then morphs into something weirder and more abstract. Lyrically abstract but with a tight arrangement. It’s got a really solid beat. That’s what I love about early Talking Heads: no matter what peculiar things are going on within the song, the thing never loses its rythmic center.
