We spent the first two days of our long weekend cleaning the apartment. We emptied the vacuum cleaner five times. We’re now living in a shiny, glossy, sterile(-seeming) apartment. We’ve watched a variety of films this weekend, and tonight we’re going to watch Marie Antoinette. We’ve had several cocktails this weekend. We’ve had pizza two nights in a row and tonight we’ll be having it again. We’ve sort of spent today doing our own thing, which has involved a lot of time with our respective laptops. We both have to go back to work tomorrow.
