3 things about Woody Allen’s HANNAH AND HER SISTERS

Hannah and Her Sisters [1986]

1. The bunch of pilings bobbing up and down in the water.
2. “How should I know about the Nazis? I don’t know how the can opener works.”
3. A deserted, barren Soho. Empty streets. Rusting cast-iron facades on the buildings. This was 1986. Not there any more. Now it’s Pottery Barn, Banana Republic, Citibank.
