Whipped this up only moments ago, using a bottle of Don’s Spices #2 from the excellent Trader Tiki. Don the Beachcomber (aka Donn Beach) always claimed that he invented the Mai Tai, but Trader Vic won the court case. Well, with this drink, Donn proves that revenge is a drink best served ice cold. It’s a spicy, lightly fruity tipple that’ll really send you out of this world.

DONN’S REVENGE

1.5 oz. Myers’s Dark Jamaican Rum
1.5 oz. DonQ Gold rum
1.5 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
.75 oz. orange curaçao
.75 oz. Don’s Spices #2

Shake well with crushed ice, then pour unstrained into a double old fashioned glass, adding more crushed ice to fill.
