Good thing I printed this out! I was 21 when I emailed him, taking him to task for panning Lost Highway. In his original review he wrote that Pete Dayton (Balthazar Getty’s character) was in high school. I rather haughtily corrected him; yet in his reply he’s gracious and even breezy. The fact that he’d take the time and effort to reply to a crank like me just shows how generous he could be.
