I’m working on my sixth cut of the film. It’s currently 72 minutes. (If the credits were added, it’d be something like 75 minutes.) The flow of the scenes, the structure is definitely there. There are two transitional moments that have problems I haven’t solved yet. It’s been proven to me, yet again, how tricky it is to segue from “reality” to non-“reality” (dreams, fantasy, etc.) in a way that feels right. But I keep chipping away.
