Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Smoked Paprika and Cumin

The name of the recipe is pretty much the recipe itself. I made these last night and they made an excellent movie snack. Good for ya too!

1 pound brussels spouts
1 tablespoon smoked sweet paprika
1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
olive oil
kosher salt
pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash, pat dry, and trim the brussels spouts. Then cut each one in half and put them in a large bowl. Drizzle them with a goodly amount of olive oil, then add the seasonings. Don’t skimp on the salt. Toss until well coated then dump the spouts onto a large cookie sheet and evenly distribute. Place on center rack of oven and roast for 10 minutes, then stir the sprouts around with a spatula. Return to the oven for 10 minutes, then check for doneness; the largest sprouts should be tender in the middle and crisp on the edges. If needed, return to the oven and check every 5 minutes. To serve, just toss them into a bowl and eat with your fingers.
