3 things about Rupert Jones’ KALEIDOSCOPE

Kaleidoscope [2016]

1. Extreme closeup: a wad of chewed gum stuck onto its foil wrapper.
2. A stream of blood runs down his father’s head. “I don’t blame you,” he says.
3. Just below his knee, a blue plaster.

Nicely crafted. Shades of Polanski’s Repulsion and Altman’s Images. Toby Jones can do no wrong.
