Segments directed by Robert Altman, Bruce Beresford, Bill Bryden, Jean-Luc Godard, Derek Jarman, Franc Roddam, Nicolas Roeg, Ken Russell, Charles Sturridge, Julien Temple.

Despite that roster this movie is barely worth a look. It ranges from pretentious or just plain pointless to mildly pleasant. However Jarman, Roddam, Russell, and Temple make the most of things.
