3 things about Paul Auster’s THE INNER LIFE OF MARTIN FROST

The Inner Life of Martin Frost [2007]

1. Irene Jacob tastes the aspargus and makes a series of “yummy” sounds.
2. Sophie Auster definitely has her dad’s eyes.
3. The allusion to Cocteau’s Orpheus at the end: he is not allowed to look at her directly, but they can look at each other in the rear view mirror of the car.
