2. “He has a terrible habit of plucking at the creases in his trousers, you know the kind of person I’m taking about.”
3. Electric blue stockings.
Another undervalued Altman gem. Genuinely creepy. Lovely theme by Johnny Mandel too.

SO creepy in fact, so clear that something very bad indeed was going to happen to the female lead, that I walked out on the film. And I’m in all other respects (except maybe for BEYOND THERAPY) an Altman fan.
